again and again
So anyway, I keep coming upon my old poems on my computer and on different discs....and i know i still have heaps of notebooks full of them... I've come into the habit of have a note book with me at all times so i can just scrible down things, poems, strange facs, lyrics, story ideas.... that sort of stuff....
Trapped Freedom
--------------------
You can hear me
Yet I cannot hear you
I feel your presence
While you search for mine
Always-walking right past
I hear the birds sing
Wishing I could myself
Hoping that maybe your voice
Will cure me
We could help each other
If we tried hard enough
We could set ourselves free
Like the wind
Whispering in the trees
We could become the fire
Burning brightly, eternal light
We could be the water
Calm, cooling, serene
Or the earth
We could become Mother Nature
Yet here we are
Sitting at home
We are not brave enough
Nor will we ever be.
From what i remember this was one i did it in the attempt to try and create the same sort of feel as Cell Animation.... that one's down below.....but it kind of twisted into the elements, and the freedom they bring... so it's a bit disjointed... witht the first half being like Cell Animation and the second half being about elements... although it all ties in, because it talks of being trapped, and the freedom that surrounds us.
Until next time.
